David Moffat is managing director of business development at Pacific Carbon Trust, responsible for business development and project origination.
David brings extensive experience in business development from his work at Clark Sustainable Resource Development, where he was responsible for strategic marketing and sustainability, and at DEKA R&D Corporation, where he led business development for clean power and water purification technologies.
With The Nature Conservancy David structured and negotiated conservation real estate transactions. Earlier, David directed development projects for the World Bank and founded an NGO in Africa. David received an MBA from Harvard Business School. He also holds a Masters of Environmental Management from Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and serves on the alumni board.
David is a member of the Capital Regional District's Roundtable on the Environment, and in his (increasingly rare) spare time, David can be found rowing, cycling and running in Victoria.
